Who we are

This website is run by AIMZ to publish fixtures, results and statistics of the school sports tournaments it organises in Egypt. Questions about this policy can be sent to AIMZ through aimzegypt.com.

What is shown on this site

• Tournament schedules, venues, groups, results, tables and brackets.
• Team names, school names and crests, and team coaches' names.
• Players' names, shirt numbers, lineups, points/goals and awards (e.g. Player of the Match). Players are school students, many of them under 18.

This information is provided by the participating schools when they register their teams, or recorded by AIMZ staff at the tournament. It is published to share results with players, families and schools.

What we do not collect from visitors

• No accounts, sign-ups or contact forms for visitors.
• No advertising, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
• Your browser stores two small settings on your own device only: your light/dark theme choice and, during a visit, the pages you opened (for the Back button). Tournament staff using the admin area also keep their access code in the browser tab until they log out or close it. None of this is sent to us.

Where the data is stored

Live results are stored with our database provider, Supabase, in the European Union (Ireland). The website itself is hosted with Namecheap. Like any website, our hosting providers may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the service secure and to stop abuse.

Removing or correcting information

Parents, guardians, schools and players can ask AIMZ to correct a name or to hide a player's name from the public site at any time. Contact AIMZ through aimzegypt.com and we will act on the request as soon as possible.

How long we keep it

Results and statistics are kept as the historical record of each season unless a removal is requested.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
